Cats on parade
Who doesn’t love a parade?
While visiting Chicago in the late 90’s, I enjoyed Cows on Parade, the fabulous art exhibit emulated in many other places - all over the place.
Seattle, Washington has Pigs on Parade. Once of my favorites, actually. Pigs are so - adorn-able.
Last summer, Ogden, Utah featured horses - life-size beauties decorated and adorned with artwork courtesy of local artisans, then auctioned off for charity. Two were spotted near the fountain in front of Union Station.
It is only fitting that cats should have a parade, don’t you think? And there is one, appropriately named Cat-n-Around Catskill. This summer, the fiberglass felines are lining Main Street in the Village of Catskill, New York until October, when Catskill’s kitties “look for a permanent home.”
Gussied up for cat people - and beyond.
How fun is this?

Blog Note: Some of you have asked about the schedule to update this blog and its frequency. My plan is to post blog updates twice a week; generally on Tuesday and Thursday.
